Goa, known in the bygone days as Gomanchala, Govapuri, etc.; abounds in a rich historical heritage. Goa is the smallest state of the Indian Union and is situated on the western coast of the Indian peninsula. Dona Paula is a picnic spot frequented by the visitors and boating and other water sports are famous. Panaji, the capital of Goa also has historical sites, Antiquities, Temples, Churches and restaurants that serve good sea food. Molen is known for the Bhagwan Mahavir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary.
